NL ⏺ Maria Iskariot is half-volwassen vrouwelijke punkrock uit Vlaanderen. Hoopvolle hopeloosheid in lawaaierig strofe, refrein, strofe. Liefde voor de onbeminden, vijgen na Pasen, maar in de eerste plaats een knieval voor de zondaars.
De nummers gaan over opgroeien, niet meer in staat zijn om goed en slecht te onderscheiden, verward zijn door jezelf en de condities van deze tijd. Over het anders willen, maar niet weten hoe - en uiteindelijk beseffen dat ook jijzelf een welwillende klootzak bent.

The four-headed dog has grown into a tender monster that celebrates friendship, washes contempt, and underscores Life. They delight the world with a brilliant imperfection as a joyful protest against the age-old evil.
On October 31 2025, they released their debut album, Wereldwaan, already hailed by critics as a timeless cult classic that holds today’s delusions up to the light of eternity.
The album was released by Burning Fik, the Dutch label run by Faberyayo (De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig) and Abel (Hang Youth). In Spain, Wereldwaan is released by Montgri, cementing their presence in the trans-european punk scene.
